What Happens After You Order from Shitexpress?

Ever wondered what actually happens after you hit the order button on Shitexpress? How does a weird little gift get from a checkout page to someone's mailbox? How long does it take, and will the person ever find out it was you?

Maybe you're planning a birthday prank, hunting for a gag gift nobody will forget, or you're just curious how anonymous poop delivery works. Here's what happens, step by step, once you place your order.

1. You place your order

It all starts on the Shitexpress website. You pick your product, enter the recipient's address, choose any extras, and pay.

Shitexpress sells a plastic bag of horse manure as a novelty gag gift. Depending on what you choose at checkout, it can come with a personalized message and an optional sticker.

After you pay, your order goes into processing. You don't need to find a courier, print a label, or stand in line at the post office. They handle the preparing and sending.

The one thing to get right here is the address. A small slip in the street name, house number, postal code, or country can cause delivery problems, and since this is an anonymous service without tracking, there's no easy way to fix a mistake after the fact. Check it twice.

2. You get a confirmation email

Right after your purchase, Shitexpress sends a confirmation to the email address you entered in the notification field. That's why it's worth using a real address, even if the gift itself is meant to stay anonymous.

According to the service's terms, you should get two emails if you provide a valid address: one immediately after you buy, and another once the parcel has shipped.

Hang on to the confirmation. Your order ID will come in handy if you ever need to contact customer support. If it doesn't show up, check your spam, junk, and promotions folders before you panic. Automated emails love to hide there.

And just to be clear, this email is for you only. The recipient isn't told that anything is on its way.

3. Your surprise gets packed

Next, the package is put together. Inside is a plastic envelope with the recipient's address, an optional sticker, a personal message if you asked for one, and a sealed plastic bag of horse manure.

A standard package holds up to 250 grams (about 9 ounces). Sometimes the amount is smaller, for example when a lighter parcel makes more sense for customs, or when a replacement is sent after a failed delivery.

It sounds absurd, and that's the whole point. This isn't meant to be a normal parcel or a traditional present. The fun is in the surprise and in watching how the recipient reacts when they open it.

The packaging is part of the joke too, and it's designed so the recipient can't tell who sent it.

4. It ships anonymously

This is where things get interesting. Shitexpress ships from various locations within the European Union, using third-party fulfillment services. Instead of commercial couriers, it hands the parcel to the recipient's national postal service for the final leg.

According to the published terms, parcels normally go out on Mondays and Thursdays, as long as the post office accepts parcels on those days. That matters when you're estimating timing, because if you order right after a dispatch day, you may have to wait for the next batch.

The anonymous setup keeps your identity separate from the package. The recipient's address is needed for delivery, but nothing on the parcel is meant to point back to you. That's what sets this apart from sending a regular gift with your name on the label.

5. How long does delivery take?

This is probably the most common question. Shitexpress suggests taking the shipping date and adding roughly six business days within the EU, or eight business days outside it.

Those are estimates, not promises. Actual delivery depends on the destination, how the postal service is running, weekends, public holidays, customs, and other things nobody controls.

Also, the shipping date isn't the same as the order date. Because parcels go out on set days, an order placed on a Friday might have to wait until the next dispatch day, and the transit time only starts counting from then.

So if you're aiming for a birthday, a holiday, or some other special occasion, order early and give yourself some breathing room.

6. Why you can't track it

If you're used to getting a tracking number and watching your package hop between sorting centers, this will feel different.

According to its terms, Shitexpress can't provide tracking numbers as of January 1, 2026, because of changes to Universal Postal Union shipping terms. The service says this is temporary and may change down the line.

In practice, that means no tracking page and no standard delivery confirmation. It's less convenient, but anonymity is a big part of what the service offers, so it's worth knowing about before you order. Don't expect to follow this parcel like you would a typical courier shipment.

If something worries you, your order ID and confirmation emails are the best place to start when contacting support.

7. The surprise lands

Eventually the parcel reaches the recipient's local postal service and gets delivered.

They might be expecting a package, or they might have no clue anything's coming. That's the idea: it's a surprise gift service. When they open it, they find out for themselves, and depending on their sense of humor, the reaction could be laughter, disbelief, confusion, or a great story to tell friends.

Delivery isn't guaranteed, though. A wrong address, an empty home, a refused parcel, an inaccessible delivery spot, or expired mail forwarding can all stop it from arriving. Yet another reason to get the address right.

8. What happens to your data?

Privacy is a big part of the pitch. The service says it doesn't sell or share recipients' personal information, and that personal data is deleted periodically, with only the recipient's country kept for statistics.

It also describes its shipping as anonymous, including when you pay with supported payment methods.

That said, anonymity isn't a free pass to misuse the service. Shitexpress is meant for novelty gifts and entertainment, and its terms prohibit using it for threats, harassment, breaking legal restraints, or anything else unlawful. The best use is a harmless prank between adults who can appreciate a ridiculous surprise, not an attempt to intimidate or target someone.

9. Can you cancel?

Plans change. Maybe you typed the wrong address, second-guessed the prank, or realized the recipient wouldn't find it funny.

According to the published terms, you need to email cancellation requests to info@Shitexpress.com, and you can only cancel before the parcel has shipped. Include your order ID so the team can find your purchase. Since parcels go out on set days, reach out as soon as you can. Once it's shipped, cancellation is off the table under the stated policy.

So, what really happens after you order?

It's pretty simple. You choose your gift, enter the recipient's address, pay, get a confirmation, and wait while the package is prepared and sent through the postal system.

Just keep a few things in mind: shipments follow a schedule, delivery estimates aren't guarantees, tracking isn't currently available, and the recipient's address has to be accurate.

Beyond that, the rest is part of the mystery. Shitexpress handles the sending, and you get to decide who to surprise and what to write in the message.

Because sometimes the most memorable gifts aren't pricey gadgets, fancy flowers, or luxury chocolates. Sometimes they're the totally unexpected packages that leave someone asking:

"Who on earth sent me this?"
